THE GAME

This game is based on

Greater Than (Higher Than)

or

Less Than (Lower Than).

You score points when your Offensive Point number on your player card has a Greater Than or Higher Than, number than your opponents Defensive Point number.

Your Offensive Point number may be a 2 Point Play or a 3 Point Play, if it reads 3pt.

Each Player Card has Offensive Points, Defensive Points and some may contain a 3 Point Option. Example:  64-Off-*3 Pt*

The Highest Total Score after playing the entire deck wins the Game.

Want a longer game, play the deck as 1 Quarter.

(4 Quarters = 1 Game).

TIP OFF

To start the game, shuffle the deck.  Flip the first 2 cards in the deck to see who will be playing first on Offense.

The card with the Greater Than (Higher Than), Offensive Point number will take possession and play first on Offense, and gain the 2 points or 3 points depending on the card.

Ex:  Player One card shows

       46-Off /9-Def

        Player Two card shows

        12-Off /21-Def

*Player ONE would win the Tip Off because 46-Off is Greater Than (Higher Than) 12-Off.

Player ONE would play the next card on Offense and Player Two will Defend.

GAME PLAY - SCORING

After Tip Off, each player is given 5 Player Cards.  Player One can play any card on Offense.  Player Two will Defend with any card in hand.

If Player One has an Offensive Card Greater Than (Higher Than) Player Two’s Defensive Card, then player One gets the 2 Points or 3 points.

Ex:  Player One card shows                    34-Off /27-Def

       Player Two card shows                     6-Off *3 pt*/ 5-Def

*Player ONE would get the 2 points because 34-Off is Greater Than (Higher Than) 5-Def.

Next, Player Two will go on Offense, Player One will defend.

Continue to alternate who is on Offense and who Defends, just like basketball.

Once all 5 player cards have been played, each player picks up another 5 cards and continue playing as explained.

If Player One has an Offensive Card that is Less Than (Lower Than) Player Two’s Defensive Card, then player One gets NO Points because Player Two was successful in defending that play.

Player Two will then go on Offense, Player One will defend.

Continue to alternate as explained.

Ex:  Player One card shows

       16-Off #3pt* /17-Def

       Player Two card shows

       80-Off *3 pt*/61-Def

*Player ONE would get NO Points because 16-Off is Less Than (Lower Than) 61-Def Player Two’s Defensive Card.

3 POINT SCORING

A card with *3pt* indicates a

3 Point Play opportunity exists.

If Player One has an Offensive Card 20-Off *3pt* and Player Two’s Defensive Card is 3-Def, then Player One gets the 3 points.

*Player ONE would get the

3 points because 20-Off*3pt* is Greater Than (Higher Than)

3-Def.  and the card

indicated *3pt*
